Library

The village Library is located in the Nigel Poulton Community Hall and is run by a team of volunteers.

The Library was set-up by the late Mike Freeman, with assistance from the Parish Council, when the mobile library service to our village was removed due to budget cuts within Hertfordshire County Council.

It is now well-established and offers an extensive range of books and jigsaw puzzles; much of which is rotated on a regular basis.
There is always a good selection of fiction and non-fiction books to choose from, including:

  • Crime
  • Thrillers
  • Adventure
  • Gardening
  • General interest
  • Hobbies and crafts
  • Romance
  • Wildlife/outdoor

So, do feel free to come along and take a look and, if you want, have a cup of tea or coffee at the same time.

We are open on Tuesdays from 10:00 until 12:00 and 14:00 until 16:00.

If you need any further information about the Library, please contact Jane Allsop on 01920 830330.
